[Q1] Why do you use product keys for your software?
We use product keys to activate our products to ensure that we can continue to provide the quality products you have just purchased. Software piracy accounts for billions of dollars lost every year.
We employ a state of the art internet based fuzzy logic software licensing system. The system is designed to be very flexible for our customers in normal use.
[Q2] Can I purchase multiple licenses?
Yes, if you're purchasing more than one license for a particular product for the same user/address, then please Contact Us for reduced pricing for the additional copies.
[Q3] Can I upgrade or change my machine?
Yes. Reinstalling the software on the new machine, restoring from backup or transferring the software is allowed.
[Q4] Can I upgrade the bios?
Yes.
[Q5] My hard disk has blown up, do I need a new product key?
No, your existing one will work fine. Just reinstall the software or recover from backup.
[Q6] On how many machines can I install my Add On?
One machine. You may permanently move the software to another machine if you need to, but you cannot actively use it on more than one machine. If you need to use multiple copies of the software, you can purchase additional copies from us.
[Q7] My license key no longer works, what can I do?
Your license key has likely been disabled due to it being used on more than one machine. Please Contact Us with an explanation as to what happened that caused the license to be disabled.
[Q8] What happens if I can't connect to the internet?
Our software licensing requires occasional access to the internet to validate itself. It's designed to handle intermitant access to the internet and broken internet connections. However, if you are disconnected from the internet for many days the software will require access again.
[Q9] Can I permanently transfer my license to somebody else?
Yes, please Contact Us with the product key you are transferring and the contact details of the person you're transferring it to. Once transferred, you no longer own the product or the key.
[Q10] I've lost my product key.
Contact Us with your name, email, address, phone number / product name and we will email you back your product key. If you have changed your email address, we may need additional verification.
