Error Number: 566/183/8/566 During Installation

Error Number 566/183/8/566 can occur during installation if you are using old setup files that you have downloaded previously.

This is due to the file you downloaded being older than the minimum copy protected version that is required.

It is always best to download the latest version of the software if you are reinstalling.

 

To resolve this issue:

1. Remove the product from your Control Panel via Add/Remove Programs

2. Check the files contained in \Neuroshell Trader 5\Template, and delete any files that are of the format:  

  • Bowfort????License.exe
  • Bowfort????License.exe.cm
  • Bowfort????License.exe.cm.ini
  • Bowfort????License.exe.cm.log

Where ???? is the name of the product, e.g. Bai1, Fuzzy Candlesticks etc.

For datafeeds (e.g. IBFeed and mYFeed), replace \Neuroshell Trader 5\Template with \Neuroshell Trader 5\Servers\IBFeed Server or \Neuroshell Trader 5\Servers\mYFeed Server.

3. Download the latest version of the software and install.  You can always download the latest version with the software delivery message you received when you placed your order.  If you need it resent, please contact us via our Contact page above.
